Ben Sweetman took down the PLO Masters Main Event at PartyPoker Tour Birmingham for £5,695 after besting a 105-entry field. He beat Rizwan Pirmohamed heads-up to win his first PartyPoker trophy since 2019 when he won the Grand Prix UK in Nottingham.

The PLO Masters Main Event was the flagship tournament in a weekend of PLO fun during the Partypoker Tour Birmingham stop which ran October 11-19, 2025. British poker pro Brandon Sheils came third for £2,710 with Brighton player Rodger Parr amongst the 13 players who made the money.

Jose was fresh from winning a bracelet and €158,000 at the recent WSOPE at King’s Casino, Rozvadov as well as making a record five final tables at The Festival in Malta in September 2025.

The PLO Masters has its debut at the Genting Autumn series in Stratford, London at the end of September 2025. Over 80 PLO players enjoyed a fabulous two-day PLO 4/5/6 tournament which went over its £15k guarantee.

Londoner Dan Patel held the chip lead from start to finish on Day 2 to take down the event. Dan loved the PLO Masters structure and hopes to attend one of the forthcoming events - either Bratislava (October 9-11) or PartyPoker Tour Birmingham (October 16-19).

The tournament was the flagship event in a weekend of PLO fun during the Banco Casino Masters which ran April 28 to May 5 at Banco Casino Bratislava. Ronshyn, a prolific competitor with more than $450,000 in live tournament winnings to his name, was by far the most experienced player at the final table. He beat Welsh player Elliott Batte heads-up, with Sweden’s Serguei Palomera finishing in third place. A total of 17 players made the money.
